I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day! For some of you, the day after means back to work, and for others, it means back to the books. I'm currently in study mode, getting ready to sit for the CPA exam, which means... I've been hopping from one coffee shop to the next.
The first one I get to share with y'all is Union Coffee House!
This coffee house is located within minutes from SMU, so it's not surprising that there was a student union kind of vibe to it. There are private study rooms, meeting rooms, white boards, and everything else you need for a solid study session. Whether you're studying individually or with a group, the space is accommodating. (I will say that if you're not trying to study, I wouldn't choose this particular coffee shop.)
Now to the good stuff--the coffee! I got the almond latte of course, and it was pretty tasty. I wouldn't say it blew all other almond lattes out of the water, but I would come back again for another taste.
