Grand Opening of Old Chicago at Presidio Junction

Today is the grand opening of the Old Chicago location in Presidio Junction! Residents of Fort Worth will now get to enjoy the delicious craft beer and handmade pizza in the comfort of their home town. The traditional casual dining spot offers everything you loved about the Mockingbird Station location. If you'll remember our visit to the other location, there is a little bit for everyone (and they were super flexible for those with picky stomachs). With over 36 draft beers and more than 100 beers available on the menu, there is no doubt that you won't find something that will compliment your taste buds.

This time around, we are bringing y'all other menu options outside of their classical and signature pizzas, in case you're not in the mood for pizza but in the mood for some good Old Chicago food.

Chi-Town Trio with Italian nachos, cheese garlic bread, and Sicilian pepperoni rolls. The perfect starter!
Reuben Sandwich with a side of Jamaican Jerk fries.
Cajun Chicken Sandwich with a side of Jamaican Jerk fries. We are serious about these fries! They're amazing.
Chicago Fire Calzone (careful, this one is spicy!)

Oh, and did we mention the beer master of Old Chicago also happened to be at the event?

Yes, the man responsible for the endless list of beers was in our presence, and we personally got to speak with him and learn about his journey with the establishment. Johnny started out as a bartender for Old Chicago in Colorado for about 12 years. Once he received his Cicerone certification (the equivalent of a Sommelier but for beer), he managed to swipe the position of head beer master for the whole company! He now compiles the beer menus for all locations across the country - not a bad gig.

We also got the inside scoop of Old Chicago's plans to expand even further in Texas. (Hint: there are two more locations coming, and one of them will be in the metroplex! Woohoo!)

In the meantime, check out their newest location in Ft. Worth!

Location: Fort Worth, TX, USA

  1. You also want to be sure that the staff working your event is reputable and professional. By choosing an experienced Chicago catering company who was referred to you by a friend, family member or online reviews, you will increase the likelihood that your special event will go off without a hitch.see more at-events in Chicago

  2. You can always find this place packed on a weekend night and sometimes they host parties that you can't get into, but other than that happening every once in a while this is the place to be. The venues in Houston have nice upstairs and down stairs area.
