I always love discovering new Thai restaurants in town, so I was excited to pay a visit to the new NoodleWave location in Garland.

To be honest, my first impressions of this establishment were not positive. Not because the restaurant didn't look nice, but namely because it's rare that you come across a good Thai restaurant that isn't a little run down and rough around the edges.

To my surprise, there are some home-style Thai options available on the menu, that aren't as Americanized as the other dishes and will satisfy any Thai food cravings. But if you aren't too adventurous but have always wanted a taste of what Thai food is like, NoodleWave may be the perfect place for you.

Absolutely loved the Vietnamese Shrimp Summer Roll and not just because of the vibrant colors. It's light, refreshing, and perfect for the Texas heat!

For the entree, we tried a couple different things. I enjoyed my choice of the Yum Neau. The grilled beef is tossed in a tangy spicy vinaigrette and served with a side of sticky rice.

The Southern Yellow Rice Curry was packed with flavor and the portion was enormous!

Don't forget to get an order of their Mango Sweet Sticky Rice! They top it off with little bits of fried yellow beans that add a nice texture and flavor to the dessert.

Speaking of, we have a SWEET DEAL for y'all.

For the next two weeks, you can receive a complimentary dessert by following these three simple steps:

1. Dine at one of their four locations (Richardson, McKinney, Frisco, or Garland)
2. Post a picture on Instagram
 3. Tag us and @thai_noodlewave
