Halal Guys Comes to Dallas!

Alas, the long awaited Halal Guys is here!

Not familiar with Halal Guys? This renowned Halal gyros food truck originated in New York City about 25 years ago and have been known for their long lines of hungry locals and tourists.

For those of you who have visited Halal guys, guess what! We no longer have to travel up to the Northeast to eat their food. They finally made their way down to our city, and their grand opening is this Saturday, July 23!

Be sure to try their signature combo platter (with Chicken and Gyro).

We also learned that mixing in some of their fries and baba ghanoush adds a whole new level to the dish. Don't be afraid to get creative with their menu! It's a limited selection, but you can customize your platter (or wrap) as you go through the line.

And don't forget to load up on their white sauce! It's seriously like crack. (Easy on the red sauce, it's fiery hot!)

Fun fact: Did you know that Halal Guys actually started out as a hot dog stand? It's true! But it wasn't long until they switched over to Halal food and started wiping out other hot dog stands.

Their current hours are Sunday-Thursday 11am-11pm and Friday-Saturday 11am-2pm.

You can find them at the location mapped below! If it's still a little outside your reach, don't fret! We received word from the owners of this Dallas franchise that they're going to be opening 9 more here in the DFW area (and one of them just might be at the new Richardson Restaurant Park, hint hint)!

Location: Dallas, TX, USA
