Meso Maya - Brunch Edition

Hi friends! A couple weekends ago, we had the pleasure of joining a group of fellow Dallas bloggers with Blog and Brunch DFW at Meso Maya! Trust us when we say, it's always a crazy fun time enjoying a meal with others who are as passionate about food as you are. Check out their Instagram here and give them a follow!

Not too long ago, we shared some dinner menu options at Meso Maya, and we had such a great experience, that we were more than ready to take on their brunch!

Go ahead and scroll down as we guide you through all that Meso Maya offers for brunch.

Pitcher of Sangria Rojas - Perfect to share with your friends... or not share. ;)

Bloody Mary - This one isn't on the menu, but we both love a good bloody mary. I personally loved it. It's a bit on the sour side, but I always enjoy a bit of a tangy kick to my drinks!

Also not on the brunch menu, but no meal at Meso Maya is complete without their Chicharrones!

Croque Senor - sliced ham, chihuahua cheese, & avocado sandwich, made with mexican pan dulce, topped with two sunny side up eggs & a roasted tomato broth

Huevos Borrachos choice of brisket or chorizo, tossed with scrambled eggs, corn hash, poblano peppers, onions, potatoes, served with house white rice, black beans, pickled red onions, a side of habanero salsa & freshly made corn tortillas

Huevos Motulenos - chrispy blue corn tortilla, jamon selecto, two eggs sunnyside up, platano macho, black beans, queso fresco, tomato broth, fresh avocado

Chilaquiles Tradicionales - roasted white chicken, sauteed onions, serrano peppers, tomatoes, black beans, served on a bed of crispy tortilla strips, topped with two sunny side up eggs, a blend of chihuahua cheese & queso fresco, your choice of tomatillo sauce (verde) or red guajillo salsa (rojos)

Skinny Eggs - egg whites scrambled with fresh spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, avocado, queso fresco

Mexican Toast - egg battered mexican pan dulce, vanilla cream cheese, strawberries, blueberries, caramelized bananas, drizzled with piloncillo cinnamon syrup

Everything was super, super tasty. You can't really go wrong with any of the menu options, but if I had to pick my favorites, it'd have to be the Huevos Motulenos, the Chilaquiles Tradicionales, and the Mexican Toast.
