Have you noticed that new restaurant that recently opened up at the Maple-Routh corner of The Crescent? I've been eyeing Moxie's since their sign popped up and have been dying at the chance to finally check them out.

Moxie's is a Canada based restaurant, and their FIRST location in the States is here in Uptown Dallas! Lucky us!

Moxie's boasts a globally inspired menu. You'll find everything from sushi to burgers to poutine, made with the fresh, high-quality ingredients. We enjoyed some pretty awesome dishes off the menu. Here's what tasted and along with our thoughts:

Tuna Poke - ahi, avocado, tomatoes, ginger, spring onions, and ponzu on nori chips. Y'all, these are incredible. So light and refreshing, we could've eaten 30 plates of these. Easy.

Korean Fried Cauliflower - spicy gochujang pepper sauce, jalapeno lime dip.

Sushi Cones - tempura shrimp with fresh avocado, pea shoots, nori crisps, and sesame chili ponzu. One of my other favorites of the night!

Poutine - fresh cut fries, hot beef gravy and quebec cheese curds, fresh chives. I've never had poutine before, but based on my first experience, I wouldn't hesitate to say that I'm a huge fan.

Fish Tacos - chipotle lime mahi mahi, soft corn taco shells, corn salsa, avocado, sour cream + side fresh market salad.

We tried a few of their salads. My favorites were the Avcado Cobb Salad and the Ginger Infused Salad.

We also tried some of the mains and steak, and you really can't go wrong here. There's something for everyone.

Lastly, to complete the meal! Hands down, get the Sticky Toffee Pudding. It's a warm cake topped with candied pecans, buttery caramel sauce, bourbon creme anglaise, and vanilla bean ice cream. The cake is moist, decadent, and perfect in every way.
