Toasted Coffee + Kitchen

The rumors are true, I finally got Toasted! After seeing and hearing all the buzz about Toasted on social media and, funny enough, the radio, I finally got to see what all the talk was about for myself. Here's everything you need to know about this new hot spot in deep lower Greenville.

Toast. So simple, yet so much room for so much more. Toasted was created based on a concept in San Francisco. Owner of Toasted, Bob Sinnott found something that had to be brought to Dallas, but of course, a bigger and better version. Because there's no other way to do things in Texas, right?

Walking into Toasted, I imagined a small low key place, and it turned out to be the complete opposite. Not that I'm complaining. I am absolutely obsessed with the industrial and rustic styled space. Meant to be a place to dine, catch up with friends, grab a drink, or work, Toasted has tons of open space to accomodate every need. They've even extended the space with a nook upstairs - a little more hidden for those looking for some quiet time.

Here's what to order:

For a savory option -

The Aloha - pulled pork with pineapple guajillo BBQ sauce, pineapple rico, coleslaw, & avocado. Y'all that pineapple slaw is EVERYTHING. Drizzle the BBQ sauce all over the toast and enjoy all the flavorful goodness!

Eggs in Jail - benedict poached egg, incarcerated in a circle of bacon and toast with hollandaise sauce. Their version of eggs benedict is ridiculously good.

For a sweet option:

Ricotta Be Kidding - country bread, strawberries, ricotta cheese, and basil garnish.

Toast Ma Goats - house bread, sweet goat cheese, pear slices, pecans, and honey drizzle.

These are both cheese-lover's dream, not to mention the house-made toast that they're on. Most other restaurants will bring frozen dough and bake it "fresh" in house but not at Toasted. They start with the flour and build up the bread from there.

What you also may not know about Toasted is that they have a full bar! Yes, food, coffee, AND drinks, this is seriously the perfect spot for any occasion.

Stay tuned for the launch of their new dinner menu coming soon! Until then, enjoy a menu of toasts available all day, breakfast, and lunch menus.

A big thank you to Toasted Coffee + Kitchen for providing our meal. As always, all thoughts and opinions are our own.
