Field to Meal

Anyone who knows me knows about my constant struggle of meal prepping. I always find myself skimming through Pinterest and cookbooks over the weekend for hours trying to plan what I'm going to be eating throughout the week. The two key essentials I look for in a recipe are simplicity of ingredients and short meal prep time. The problem is I spend way too much time over the weekend on meal prepping! Don't get me wrong, I love cooking because it's therapeutic for me. It's the planning portion that gives me the unnecessary stress.

So when Field to Meal introduced their services to me, I was more than eager to start the process because 1) all the initial meal prep work would be done for me and 2) they're a local business! So here's how it works.

1) Choose a meal plan and how many servings per meal.
2) Choose your meals.
3) Receive your delivery or pick up your meal bag from one of 3 store locations.
4) Prepare and enjoy!

Dinner Meal Bag - for well-balanced meals varying from light to hearty & traditional to modern.
Fresh Start Meal Bag - for a healthier and leaner option.
Vegetarian Meal Bag - for vegetarians or vegans.

Field to Meal is a great way to support local farmers from the comfort of your own home! The vegetables, meals, and ingredients are sourced locally with a focus on organic and naturally grown produce.

In my experience with other meal delivery services like Field to Meal, I found myself spending a lot of time actually preparing the food. Both of the meals I received from Field to Meal weren't overly complicated and were easily ready in under 30 minutes.

I used one of my two meals to pack for my lunches for the week! Between the amount of time I would normally take to figure out what I wanted to cook, grocery shop, and cook my lunches, I would say I saved at least 2 and a half hours of my weekend, which meant more time for relaxing and enjoying my Sunday afternoon.

Thank you Field to Meal for providing the delicious local food! As always, all thoughts and opinions are ours.
